The GEO Group, Inc. a diversified government service provider, specializing in design, financing, development, and support services for secure facilities, processing centers, and community reentry centers in the United States, Australia, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. It operates through four segments: The U.S. Secure Services segment; The Electronic Monitoring and Supervision Services segment; The Reentry Services segment; and The International Services segment. The company provides U.S.-based secure services business; monitoring services and evidence-based supervision and treatment programs for community-based parolees, probationers, and pretrial defendants; and treatment, educational and community-based programs, pre-release and half-way house programs; secure services operations. It also offers support services, including secure custody services, food services, residential car, health and mental health care, facility management, and physical plant maintenance. The GEO Group, Inc. was established in 1984 and is based in Boca Raton, Florida.
